The inaugural Business and Finance ESG Awards took place in the Round Table at The Mansion House last last month.
The Awards were to celebrate the best in industry and to awarded to those companies and organisations that are making a true and read difference to sustainability in their industry.
We were delighted to be invited along to join the celebrations and to meet some great leaders that are working hard to deliver on their promises to customers.
Attracting over 100 entries from 80+ companies nationwide, their were some household names in their as well as some up and coming (and very exciting! newcomers.
Aviva received the Net Zero Carbon Award, sponsored by SSE Airtricity and Bus Éireann was awarded the Sustainable Supply Chain Award.
Mobility Mojo, who evaluate tech for facilities and hotel accessibility, scooped the ESG Company Award and was received by CEO Stephen Cluskey and the best The Biodiversity Initiative went to Keelings.
Vincent Dolan, Vice President Sustainability for International food company Dole Plc (who were shortlisted in 3 categories at the event), received the Good Governance Award.
Keerti Krishnan-Murphy, Group Sustainability, Dairygold Lead was presented with the Energy Efficiency Initiative Award for Cork-based Dairygold Co-operative Society Ltd.
One of the highlights for us was a speech from Norman Crowley from Cool Planet, who picked up award for his outstanding work as an ESG Leader.
This was another great event from Business and Finance and we are already looking forward to next year!
